Jonathan Belair is the Managing Partner of Power Sustainable Lios, bringing over 20 years of investing and operating experience with a focus on food, agriculture, and sustainability. Previously, he spent five years as a senior executive at McCain Foods, where he led global M&A, strategy, and the company’s ESG function. Prior to that, he was a senior member of the direct private equity team at OMERS Private Equity, responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments in North America. He began his career in the investment banking group at Scotiabank, focused on M&A advisory and equity and debt financings. Jonathan holds a degree from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario and serves on the boards of several portfolio companies and on the Ivey Sustainability Advisory Council.
