Janell Lofton-Minta is a Commercial Advisor to Power Sustainable Lios, where she advises on commercial diligence, growth strategy, and value creation opportunities across the food and consumer sector.

She brings more than 25 years of experience as a senior operator in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry, with a track record of driving growth, improving profitability, and strengthening commercial performance across complex portfolios. Her experience spans more than 40 categories across branded, private label, and foodservice businesses.

Janell has held senior leadership roles at Post Holdings, General Mills, Nestlé, Conagra Brands, and SunOpta. As Vice President of Growth and Marketing at Post Holdings’ Crystal Farms business, she led the turnaround and transformation of a $300 million portfolio, delivering meaningful improvements in revenue growth, profitability, and market share. At SunOpta, she built and led the company’s CPG business team and developed its first strategic growth roadmap, establishing foundational capabilities in portfolio strategy, consumer insights, and commercialization that supported expansion into new categories and channels.

Throughout her career, Janell has partnered with founders, management teams, and investors to assess growth opportunities, strengthen commercial capabilities, improve business performance, and drive operator-led value creation. She brings a practical operator’s perspective to commercial diligence and growth initiatives, helping businesses identify scalable pathways to sustainable growth and enterprise value creation.

Janell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Engineering Route To Business from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
